NOW Magnesium Malate 1,000 mg provides nervous system support with 115 mg of elemental magnesium, with 180 tablets per bottle.

Why Magnesium Malate? Magnesium is critical for energy production and metabolism, muscle contraction, nerve impulse transmission and bone mineralization. It is a required cofactor for an estimated 300 enzymes, including those involved in fatty acid synthesis, protein synthesis and glucose metabolism. Malate is an important Krebs cycle intermediate, which makes it important in producing cellular energy from carbohydrates.
